In fact, you (or anyone) would have to pay US.

For a country that wants to stop immigration, you guys sure get upset when someone says they don't want to be American.

For the record I was offered a HB1b visa to move to Illinois oranage country 10 years back as I knew a lab technique that they wanted me to train people there on. I said no.

You (and clearly not Trump) don't get that with artic warfare you don't just dump entire battalions into such terrain right?

That's why Finland chewed up the soviets so badly with such a small force.

  Not even close to being true.   The two people who responded to you saying you didn't want to be were GLAD that you didn't want to be here.   

On topic ...  people shouldn't be paid to be US citizens.   
If anything they should be paying us to become them.
To be an American is a great thing.

It is in a strategic position, full of rare earth minerals, and there is no one there to defend it. 
Couple that with the expansionist ideals of China and Russia.
