He's a disgrace. Withdrawing Gordon and parking the bus with 35 minutes to play + stoppage time?? Argentina is not Mexico and there was no way that they were going to choke. It could have easily been 3 or 4 -1.

Very true. Yet we can't move the ball around like the Argies. Our England lads are super fit, they can run around like greyhounds. Once Argentina get into gear they are in another league. It was like watching Barcelona v Aston Villa. More passion, skill and flair.  There is a difference. They also have desire and belief,  being multiple, plus current World Champions.  Argentina were the better team.

Going all defensive at a goal up handed the game to Argentina.

It was inevitable that they would score so that was a bad decision.

We needed to keep on attacking.

The Argies played dirty from the off and the ref was out of his depth and failed to control things.
