I still fall asleep watching most games but it feels like our metro area put out the good china and so far no huge problems. Ive heard vendors in MBS and around town have done very well.

It was, and it was a great game, specially if we consider that it was the first time Cabo Verde (the name should not be translated) qualified for the World Cup and it's a country with only around 500000 people (or more than twice that, if we count those spread throughout the world).

Anyway, they can be proud of what they achieved.

Colombia beat Ghana last night. That was a heck of a game to watch. It was intense, Ghana can play hard, but Colombia is just as tough, and even though one of their goals was taken due to off sides they were still able to keep the pressure. Got to  give the Ghana goalie mad props, that man can block shots like a champion. It was probably the first game I was actually excited to watch because of how aggressively each team was able to keep taking the ball from the other on the way to either goal. 

Frequently the passes are intercepted and kicked across the field with players never stopping running at damn near full speed, people crashing heads. It was an aggressive match I tell you. USA plays Monday, looking forward to that. I am only really watching USA, Colombia, and Mexico games. SO when they finally have to face each other its going to be amazing.
