SPORTSUNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Will the 2026 World Cup be a disaster for fans?

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to be the most expensive, polluting, and political yet.

Those prices are indeed shocking.

Astronomical!

I'd love to respond, but there's a sport on now where they get hit, and don't pretend they just got kicked in thier labia as the rest of the world's "football" players do....

except Australian Rules Football they deserve a hearty salute

Ah, the circus part of 'bead and circus'.

Does any grown men playing kids games actually accomplish anything beyond distracting the masses while transferring lots of money to a very few people?

They are paying for there own meaningless distractions.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

Fucking BYU.  Well so much for multiple playoff teams...

So sick of The $EC by E$PN..

But this is not about our football, this is about the rest of the world's football... except Austrailia, Canada, and New Zealand.

 And come on with this....

The women's game has far less "simulation" cards.  Its actually acting like a boy to take a dive. To the point its almost a stigma to not get right back up and play on.

The women's game doesnt view purposely drawing set pieces as an overly useful tactic and are WAY more likely to play through contact. Way less likely to go down at a minor breeze, even in the final third. The emphasis is on open play to possession restarts.

You only really see intentional dives to draw a penalty or a really close free kick.

Think of it like a flop in basketball. Moreso prior to the restricted arc rule change.  And even with that, they still fall backwards to draw the charge. All you need is a situation where acting on contact has an immediate benefit.

Why is it "football" in countries that use the metric system?

Shouldn't it be "Metre"-ball or something?

Lol

No doubt but hell the WNBA is more manly than FIFA

Besides, it's not really a game, more like the aforementioned

Smear the "effeminate" person with the football, which is televised about as often as Rugby here in the States
