Sad to see politics getting into football.

So, we have Croatia?  Tricky....

But bring it on.

Looks like we got "Haita", "Morocco", and the dreaded "Brazil".

Hank Hill?

I'm not a fan of propane... though I can tolerate it... but do prefer to taste the smokey heat

The taste of wood-smoked and grilled chunk of animal flesh and veggies is almost primal.

As for soccer,I played FIFA on EA Sports alot when it first came out like for hours, used to piss off my wife and girlfriends

but that's different than watching a game on TV.

Our local team won a championship early on and the fans went nutz and I tried to get into it and watch every Sunday game, but it might as well be fishing or golf

and they have been mediorce every since.

Watching their first 3-4 seasons, but by the end of all the players from the Championship team were gone except goalkeeper Brad Guzan

He's big he's bald
he's a mother fucking wall
Braaad Guzaaan Braad Guuzan!!!

So Im not besmirching the worldwide football fandom, I can appreciate bending it like Beckham, but as an international spectator sport, I prefer hockey or baseball.

Like a bunch of wusses.

Come on, soccer is pretty crap, slow and ponderous, even the fans have to make their own entertainment, so many grown men acting like school girls milking free kicks, it’s as embarrassing as a sport as the English cricket team is to their country

But soccer is a good game to play, just unwatchable

LoL

Sounds about right with our luck.

Then again if they play like they did at Hampden against Denmark....

Yeah, 3.5 billion footy fans worldwide so....

Stop taking out your bum, please.

It's the most-watched sport on the planet.

Do you call it "soccer" when you play?  Saint2

Both are accurate descriptions.

We used to get in big trouble at school playing Smear the Queer.
Ever heard of it?
You gather around and throw the ball up in the air, the one who catches it is the queer who tries to run around before getting smeared.
Reminds me of rugby.
It’s rough.
I’ll watch it or Australian rules if it’s on but it’s rare here.

I look forward to the World Cup.
I’m keeping my eye on tickets as it’ll be in my area of Texas and I’d love to go.

I’ve been to a Copa America game in LA (Mexico vs Jamaica) and it was wild fun.
I was watching what appeared to be people throwing cups of beer at the Jamaican fans.
The Rose Bowl (80,000) was probably 90% for Mexico and 10% for Jamaica so the Jamaican fans just had to take it.
Turns out it wasn’t $24 cups of beer they were throwing. Lol

With the prices here being obscenely high, STARTING at $367 for MBS, other stadiums are STARTING at $800, and Canadian and California games are STARTING over $1,000 a ticket.

Just to get piss thrown all over you, no thanks.

FIFA ought to have Depends as its official sponsor.

Those impromptu and unplanned golden showers when you take your kid to a soccer match are always a hoot.

Here, getting pissed on doesn't happen at any other sporting event. One reason they don't open the upper level all season long.

They could sell tickets every game, but to service and police the area, it's only viable on special occasions where they can charge $300-$400 bucks like the World Cup
