I can't find any reliable evidence the USA is performing airstrikes inside Mexican Territory. My belief is Claudia Sheinbaum wouldn't accept that happening, or grant permission, and would likely consider such action a soveirgnty violation. AI agrees. Quote: So we'd be violating Mexican sovereignty and acting unilaterally if this was true. And it would DEFINITELY BE IN THE NEWS, only from the angle of "The US is violating Mexican sovereignty." Not like we can control other country's news bias too. The cartel has too much Mexican media influence to not take such actions against them and turn it into a political sovereignty shit show. It would be the same angle Hamas uses against Israeli airstrikes. I think they are flying CIA drones over their territory, but they can only have a surveillance capacity. Trump has floated possible drones strikes, but nothing about fighter jets being used yet. This may be happening in an alternate reality, like the Nosferatu universe.

So instead of sending F-35s, which are far more numerous, designed for this exact mission, and based far closer to Mexico, which would get the same result, they send F-22s, designed for air superiority with a very limited ground attack role. Just one of many things that don't make sense.

Totally. I was mostly focused on the political ends. It's something that's highly anticipated, thus the success of the video.

That was my first thought...the F22 isn't the tool for that job. Can they carry some air to ground stuff yes...but not much. They probably wouldn't use an F35 either honestly...the airspace isn't hostile. F-15 would be the likely tool if this ever did happen.

Without Mexican knowledge, F-35Bs or Cs. |
