Correct. If they backed off, it would be a betrayal to those voters who elected a Republican majority in 2024. This is what they voted for. The Democrats need to stop pretending they have any kind of mandate or policy role. The only thing they need do is shut up and let change happen, or keep playing ridiculous obstructionist orange-man-bad finger-pointing games. It really doesn't matter either way.

I’m not buying it. Although it makes some sense.
It’s always the Dems need to back off or step down.
But this site is bias — so I need to look elsewhere.

Dems want free healthcare for illegals and to subsidize Obamacare to 93% of cost.
Hard nope.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Hard nope. Dems want affordable healthcare for low income families. You are just given marching orders to say they want free health care for illegals.
But the longer this drags on it will only hurt the red states more as the voters in those states are more likely to be on programs like the ACA.
You work in the medical field so you are aware.

As was pointed out with a nice visual representation by a outstanding member of DI, this is what you should be concerned about.

If this end and trust me it will. All these things you concern yourself with will mean nothing to anyone.

Dems want government run healthcare for all.

All you care about is what the Dems want.
The world is much larger than your very narrow minded perspective of what is actually important.
I figured you of all people would like to think healthcare is a fundamental right for all.
Very silly to be so obsessed like you are.

No. It's not nor has it ever been a right.
A "Right" doesn't obligate another person, therefor, healthcare could never be a "Right" because it would obligate doctors, nurses, techs, tax-payers to support it.

Amen. Same thing with education, really.
If a state or locality wants to impose taxes and force contributions, they can—because sane people are free to move away. Trying to mandate such things for the entire country is tyranny.

You should learn to read. I said I would expect you to think that. I did not say it was.
But thanks for assuming so as you always just assume things even when told otherwise.
