Except Pinyin, because you kind of have to.

One of the things that annoys me about the New York Times crossword. Dang it, "ñ" is not the same letter as "n"!

I've seen the ad a few times while watching TV.
It was out of context and for a different time and different situation.

Too much BS from all sides.

Trump is pissed off because someone lied?

I think this bears mentioning because this particular ad was evidently paid for by the Ontario government and the words Reagan spoke were specifically chosen out of context to twist the meaning into almost the complete opposite of what he was trying to convey at the time.

I know there is no "truth in advertising" but when you deliberately twist something out of context to mean almost the exact opposite, and especially when you do it to someone's words after they have passed on, I personally find this reprehensible.

But that is my opinion, what is your take?

Canada was being a dick.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

This is what the leaders have devolved into...sad egotistical idiots, who are never held accountable for the problems they create.

I mean, don't you think it's somewhat plausible that Trump really doesn't care about the ad, and is simply using it as an excuse to halt negotiations, as a tactic to put Canada on their back foot?

It's pretty obvious.

Knowing Donald's fragile ego about how everything he does is 'winning', it may not be that obvious.

Bahahaha!

Ego hurt little men. Trudeau was the same. Like we actually give a serious fuck about his tariffs.

Hurt us and our families for real and then we’ll talk.

Ffs get over it.
