Calling homeowner ship "a weapon of white supremacy" and stating that property should be treated as a "collective good". 

Do people really not see who these people for what they truly are? Are they really this brainwashed to vote in literal communism, thinking it will make their city "better"? 

It wasn't that long ago that, if you were a communist sympathizer, you would lose your job, not be able to hold government positions, were ridiculed, taken legal action against, or even worse in some extreme cases.   Why are we now just allowing communists to run major cities in our country? 

It's no surprise that Mamdani would want someone like this on his staff though, especially if you listened to the speech he gave after he was sworn in.

He will, and in some cases already is, going to take away their choice and force them to his will. He ran on the ideas of "free bus rides", then raised the price to $3 in the first week. He is wanting free childcare by taxing the "wealthiest few", but what is he going to do when those "wealthy few" leave the city and he can't tax them anymore? Give up that free childcare or just go ahead and raise the taxes on everyone else too?  Maybe you can go take a walk through the city run grocery stores, never mind the fact that this will effectively push out all other grocery stores in the city and when you have no other place to shop, the prices will skyrocket to turn the profit he wanted to see from the beginning. 


If you live in NYC and you voted for this, I hope you get what you have coming, and I wish it were illegal for you to leave and escape this that you wished upon your fellow citizens. If you did not vote for this, I wish you the best of luck and hope you can get out while you still can.

I've said it before, and I will say it again now, if he makes it through his full term I will be very surprised.

It is being beaten into submission all across the country, and those that want all of the "free" handouts promised by these crooked state politicians are the ones allowing it to happen.

The bus fare increase is hilarious. 

A certain Commie supporting Liberal member here, used the "Free Bus Fare" excuse extensively in her support of MamCommie getting elected.

Citing numerous times that citizens wanted free bus rides to look for work that they would otherwise not be able to afford.

The 100,000th time a Liberal has been wrong that we won't get an apology about.

And now we have Cea Weaver being held "accountable" for what she said.  But I guess that is pretty on par for that side, never once apologizing for or retracting what they said.

I guess it is possible to be "too radical" for NYC, even thought hey elected a literal communist to be their mayor, but hey progress is progress.

 "Four years ago, her name was submitted for City Council confirmation to the City Planning Commission.  Enough of us made clear we would not confirm her nomination and forced its withdrawal."

 

Yeger said he could not recall exactly how many city council members opposed Weaver's nomination, but did indicate that it was a "good number of members of the council." He added that some folks on the council were not just concerned about her comments either. Yeger also said some were concerned about the far-left organizations she has worked with in the past as well.

Guess we will see if the City Council is going to let Mamdani get away with appointing her without getting her confirmed, since we know they will again vote against her confirmation.
