Does this help you

Tinnitus shows thoughts are not private.

I know I’m thinking about something erroneously if the hum happens in my left ear.

That doesn't mean there's no privacy.

It could just be the actions of a separate piece of consciousness that's still "you", living inside you, like Kuato in Total Recall, except more of a puppeteer.

Wait, I mean: "Does this help you???"

Know thyself/selves.

Well my thoughts are not private from this “separate consciousness”

which is Me?  Or is it You?

One of these days I hope I can get rid of my tinnitus…

Doctors say there is no cure, but I am praying for a miracle…

I just happened upon this information while doing research for making my own medicines. There seems to be conflicting information and I thought I'd offer this to you for your consideration.

I'm forced to wear too many masks to navigate this utter clown convention. Hell, you don't really know yourself or even have a clue until perhaps retiring age anyway. Then, most don't care to hear of your 'illumination' as the old are merely a reminder of unavoidable things to come.

The distractions make the masks more comfortable for some, I'm quite sure. I've already made my peace with dying ignorant. Like any of us have a choice. My entire life has been predetermined in many ways, fundamentally. To deny this is naive, imo.

I think the root cause is I was sending my love down instead of up.

I don't get it in the context of having tinnitus or is sending one's love down and not up the root of all ailments?

Joke is only because I have tinnitus too, well it's better now that I stopped taking pharma meds, massage towards the inner ear as far as possible, and use hydrogen peroxide flushes.

I grew up around and using guns back before ear pro was a common thing. My first job at 12 years old was at a shooting park.

My first car was a truck that I used to drag race on the weekends. Built the motor and cutout exhaust myself.

Served as a mobile Artilleryman in the Army in addition to being responsible for maintenance on the 900+ci turbo diesel.

Best way I found to describe my tinnitus goes like this. The loudest cricket in the world is sitting on a microphone hooked to a wall of speakers that would be the envy of any heavy metal band is in my ear canal screaming for a mate.

That's just the norm now. Sometimes there's flair ups that feel like getting smacked in the side of the head with a baseball bat. Other times it's louder and I have to lay down in a dark room with a loud fan. The fan seems to offset the frequency of the tinnitus.

Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:

there is no help

"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"

there is no hope

Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command

words turn to dust

“Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.”

No thing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

not even that

“Of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.”

we do not write in clay

Percy Bysshe Shelley, Ozymandias.
Ecclesiastes 1:2; 12:12.
