I'll get the ball rolling.

Here is one of my wolves.

This is Cain, he's a 5-year-old Saluki-cross.

And this is Scrappy, the other one.

He's a 2-year-old Border Collie/Bichon Frisé cross.

If you would like to post, let's see some pictures of your pets, fellow members.

Meet Miss Kitty, she was found in a box with her siblings at a strip mall in cold weather conditions by a family member. Fast forward, she fell nine stories off an apartment balcony and survived, we call her the miracle cat. Due to hardships the family members asked me to take her because they could not look after her, so I did. I took her in a very long time ago and she is now 14 years old and she seems to still be frisky.

This is when they found her - way too young to leave mama.

The rescues always seem to end up at my house and I'm allergic to cats. LOL

Why do dogs always look so worried, like your Cain? lol

Couple of years ago, a male cat showed up on my doorstep
So we named him Archie and started leaving food & water for him

A few months later, Archie brought a wife and 3 sons
So I set up a cat house for them on my patio
Surprise! Wife was pregnant with another litter

She gave birth in the cat house...6 new kittens
One rainy night,, she brought her babies inside the house
They officially moved in

I waited for her to wean so I could get her fixed and Surprise!
She had another kitten
Thankfully, only 1 this time

Now they're all finally fixed

This is the youngest one who just had her 1st birthday

These are ours, Kira and Sumi. Smile

We have them for 2 1/2 years, and Kira (the stripped one) still doesn't allow us to pick her up. It took me almost 6 months for her to allow me to touch her, and almost 2 years to allow me to lift her front paws.

I'm a patient person, I'll wait. Smile

I forgot to mention our daily visitor (one of my daughter's cats) who prefers our more quiet environment to sleep all day. Felix is another rescue who has the largest and sharpest claws I've ever seen on a cat and he is very big and muscular too, sometimes I am scared of him...just a little because the timing of patting and scratching is a very short window of opportunity.

Strangely, he allows me to pick him up but Miss Kitty does not. I think the act of picking up a rescue may have them associate that act with bad things happening afterwards, like going to the vet or being put in a cage or being moved to different locations - it must be a traumatic association for them.

I don't know how to upload photos but my cat Carl is a rescue cat.  He was feral but is now a lap cat and sleeps with us.

He's a black and white Tuxedo Cat.

All of our cats have been rescued or strays that just turned up.
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...

Sometimes I think Tuxedo cats look all the same. lol Well the two tuxedos I had looked exactly the same, but I know the markings differ widely.
