It already has.
They chose to leave Iran and have freedom.
They were intimidated and threatened into returning.
And they will meet with trouble in Iran.
The government and clerics don't take kindly to be shown as
the assholes that they are.
The first thing those women did was take off their hijabs for
pictures.   Now they are forced back to wearing them.
They are slaves to the government and the clerics.
They are already harmed.

You have no proof of any of that. I will believe what the women have said so far, that they had certain fears with becoming refugees and they felt that the advocates were manipulating them. They did not mention anything about the Iranian government threatening or manipulating them.

Lol   OF COURSE they aren't going to say to the media that the government of Iran was threatening and manipulating them.  DUH.  Otherwise when they got back they'd be shot.   That's what Iran does.   And I gave the interview by the lawyer in Australia who worked for the city in this case, and had direct information from them that they were indeed manipulated because family members went missing and/or had been detained.

FAIL.  (it's amazing how you are on the wrong side of every issue)

That's true, the fact they refused "the West" is a weapon the regime can use for their propaganda.
It would have more effect than arresting them, but we never know the reasoning of those that at the top.

Hey, I am going by what the women are saying, not those that are pushing propaganda.

The thing is if we bother listening to what the women had to say, it was their decision and they said their government had no hand in it, except promising to treat them like princesses when they got back home. But, sure, everything is possible and two things can both be true at the same time.

One thing is how you see it, a different thing is how the regime will present things to the citizens.
It will be easy (and good propaganda) to present them as being offered lots of money, for example, and refusing because they wanted to help the country during the war.

It's easier to bend facts in their favour than to risk more negative propaganda, and as those women are known across the country it could be bad to make them disappear or publicly punish them.

But we never know.

You are assuming she was telling the truth. Smile
