DI Conspiracy Thread Creation Contest

Do you have a great original conspiracy you've put together? Or even one that you've pieced together from other conspiracies?  Could you make one up? 

Here's your opportunity to test all of the above.

The rules are simple.  

Create a short conspiracy (1000 words or less) that you feel is plausible and back up your theory.

Parallel thought exists, and it's all been done, but still try to come up with something original, or at least an original angle. 

​​​All conspiracies must have a declarative statement and at least 2 pieces of supporting evidence to back up the assertion.  The evidence can be images or links. Warn of all PDF sources and links used. 

Every conspiracy thread is open for debate once posted. 
You are not required to defend all challenges, but you can.

Submissions will be open through June 31st. 

Similar to the writing contests of the past, include "CTC" in the title.  

Example:

  "The EPA focusing on Scrubbing Sulfur Dioxide Is What Actually Caused Global Warming - CTC"

Judging: 

After May 31st all members will vote on their favorite submissions, which will receive 10 points. That will be added to the total number of likes for the OP for an aggregate score.. 

The conspiracy with the highest total wins a yet to be discussed prize. 

Post submissions in their own thread.
Multiple submissions allowed. 

Other rules:


• No obvious political baiting or trolling with your submissions. While conspiracies can be about political  issues (like cover-ups), or have political undertones (like why they covered it up), they should support general, respectful, and fact oriented ideas, and not seek to belittle with blatant vitriol. 

• No conspiracies focused on demeaning a specific race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, or genetic information. 

• No conspiracies featuring NSFW content, explicit subject matter, sex crimes or exploitation.

• No conspiracies about other members, present or former, issues pertaining to this site, ATS, or related communities. 

• No conspiracies that violate any decorum standards not mentioned. 

• Use best judgement, dont be mean..


Apart from that, let your mind go and be creative!

I don’t have a conspiracy other than I think the Terra Papers make the most sense to me. 

But I certainly applaud your efforts in creating an interesting thread topic to increase discussion.

All people have to do is start a new thread about something involved with a conspiracy and place the CTC at the end of it. Heck people could make a new thread about those missing governmental employees connected with the UFO cases and place CTC in the title. 

It's almost conspiratorial that this isn't happening.

I have made a post, the first of a series exploring a hypothesis: The true 'secret society', an inevitable academic hypothesis? CTC

As such a hypothesis has many 'inputs' to explore, I have added a few posts as I flesh-out and explain things.

Hopefully, the steps in reasoning build towards understanding to the extent where people begin to see correlations that affirm the hypothesis, and each step along the way is rational rather than a purely emotional response, as many other conspiracies are.

"It's all been done before" is what my issue is here. I just can't, so far, think of anything that hasn't already been posited over reading conspiracy posts over the last 30 something years on forums.

Can I make something up? Even that is proving difficult.

Then write your version of your favorite with your evidence of it and make it your own

All you need to do is look up little known conspiracies and dig into one a bit. Like how kids that were brainwashed all think that the TV show "The Crystal Maze" was a real show from the 1970s and 80s but never existed until a few Intel agencies got spook and finally made it in the 1990s in order to cover their TV Brain washing scheme. 

You could dig into that mess. Plus you get to watch 90s tv with Richard O'Brien chewing up the sets.

Sorcha Faal is a good one for a person to dig into. Was this person just a professional hoaxer or paid counterintelligence allowed to run stories to confuse the public on world events at the time. I could see some of us here doing that topic justice.
