I spoke to someone regarding a telepathic experience they claimed they had.  It was a long time ago, before the outbreak, so I may have forgotten some of the details. 

He claimed that sometime in the summer of 2018, he was thinking of world overpopulation and global warming and was particularly worried about China because they seemed to be overspilling their bounds.  He mentioned some news story about fishermen being pressured by the Chinese coast guard or navy.  

He claimed a Chinese-sounding voice contacted him and confronted him over what he thought.  They argued, he tried to deny he was against China, then the maybe-Chinese person said he agreed we should do something about world overpopulation and said to him, "you volunteer."  The voice did not identify themselves and he tried to make clear that he was not an expert on East Asian accents and did not know where it was from.  He also claimed Xi put his hand on the speaker's shoulder.

He felt something brush his nose but thought maybe he made the whole thing up.

A short time later, in the evening, he claimed the voice contacted him again and pressured him to go out.  He said he didn't want to, and the voice said "aren't you a whore?  Why you like rock & roll music?"

Shortly thereafter he came down with something like a cold which he said got worse and worse until he was exhausted from the coughing.  He claimed he went to a doctor and got some meds and things slowly got better....but he couldn't taste for a while.

He asked that I not talk about it, especially any identifying information.  There was nothing obviously associated with China hatred or white supremacy or even MAGA.

I just want to point out that loss of taste can occur due to many reasons.
