With limited and only approved internet access in China it is true anyone who says anything negative about the CCP or Xi or even reports on stuff like Chinese made electric cars catching fire and burning down whole apartment complexes can result in people go to jail or disappearing.. Kinda like what a few other countries are trying to do now with social media...Wonder where they got the idea ?? It would appear with COVID and now the White Lung virus going around china the population may be much much lower than the CCP wants you to believe. I have seen several reports that the population is somewhere around 650 to 800 million but now there is this.

Whatever the true number, there is plenty of satellite and intel data backing up the nonstop crematorium rates, and plenty of people backing up the weeks-long queues to pick up urns and drop off bodies. Of course official numbers had zero covid deaths for a few years.  Who believes that even if you have reservations about covid in general?

And now you have some other respiratory stuff that is attacking all-aged people with similar reports of hospital and crematorium lines. A study was where they were able to determine people don't even start to notice something might be unusual unless something like 10-15% of their circle of acquaintances dies in a year. 

My personal feeling is the population is way less than reported for a variety of reasons -- straight up lying for decades, one-child policy, and covid was devastating to them for various reasons that weren't world-wide.  It was really just a bad cold-flu season with scare propaganda for the rest of the world, but China did in fact get hit badly.  Those reasons will come out in the future.

In any case, who knows what the true population is, but I think there is some real truth to these observations. It is just so very difficult to sift through the propaganda because it is pervasive.  There has been a new rash of stuff hitting all US social media now that AI can generate vids. It's can even be pretty subtle and appear to be from a non-Chinese source or even subject matter that seems unrelated.

Looking at that "Decoding China" channel you posted. Dozens of videos a week, all of them negative about China. It appears to be some kind of propaganda campaign. Not necessarily "lies", but 30% truth 70% extrapolation, always with negative spin. One thing you can do with channels like this is to go to the "all videos" page, and sort by oldest. See how many of the videos about "imminent collapse" actually came true.

The "30% true" part is, yes, I do think China fudges their public population numbers somewhat. I don't know why, I don't have any proof or even evidence, but it just seems like something that would be done for competitive or domestic propaganda reasons. Maybe assuming that's bias on my part.

And the "white lung" thing certainly is suspicious, perhaps? Not necessarily buying into it being vaccine side-effect related, but maybe environmental toxin or even bioweapon that may be being hushed up.

I feel like there's so many layers of agenda, spin, propaganda and language barrier that it's difficult to be certain of anything. Just recently went down a rabbit hole researching that Tienanmen Square "massacre" thing. So much western propaganda around that, now obvious if you take a second look in retrospect.

Bold claim to say that the China population has fallen from 800 Million pre covid to 400 Million now. This would put the case fatality rate at around 10% to get those numbers over 5 years due to covid. The case fatality is now where close to that around the world. Even in the +85 age group the case fatality is around 5%. Around 0.001% case fatality in under 5 age group. Around the same as the common flu.

Has the CCP used the cover of covid to implement its own culling program over this time? Was the spike protein tuned to target Chinese to get those sorts of numbers?

If China is out by these kinds of numbers, they are going to be in for all kinds of trouble as the corruption goes malignant.

With the state of psychology on things these days, hard to get accurate numbers on many things. How many really died in WW2? Lots on all sides.

About 30 years ago China had around a Billion people. Now the official numbers are around 1.4 Billion. The one child policy went from 1978 - 2015. Boys where favored due to their economic potential. Now if you can afford a larger family it helps in raising one.

There is something in the GDP numbers that looks a bit wonky, Not a billion people out with all the accounting that does go on. OG if so?

Does China have a similar problem with the democratic voter roles? Worth more alive than dead?

China is also big on immigration these days, every big city has a Chinatown section. Been a big influx into Australia recently along with India. China has bought out a lot of the medical university positions here.

To help narrow down a more accurate figure if using industry, then something like comparing national shipbuilding rather than one salt trader is going to be a better mark with all the supporting infrastructure required.

What would a DOGE team find if they went to China? Is the CCP really in control or are they struggling to hold the ship together with all the fraud, waste and corruption going on?

If China has 47M unemployment with a 1.4B population, it does mean that the job market is booming with an unemployment rate closer to 3%. Does not look that way as agoraphobia is the new pandemic.

If China has a population around 500M with an unemployment of 47M, then the unemployment is closer to 10% and consistent with a nation in recession/depression.
