m what I've read online in main stream media his parents are Republicans (yes, which means nothing), but he has no party affiliation and has not voted in the past two elections.   He may have been liberal but he didn't care enough about it to bother registering and voting about it.   (just shooting ...)

Well that's all fine and dandy but when you write on a bullet casing "Hey Fascist...Catch" and murder a Conservative with that bullet, there is really not much ambiguity in the motive.
