Yeah I think it's an AI-upscale with massive interpolation. The wispy-bit coming out of the logo rectangle on the shirt, on the top side (center-right) seems like a giveaway. You can see it's the same in both, but the contents of the logo in the "higher res" image seem non-nonsensical and hallucinated. Also I heard someone say it was a Grok AI-upscale, but that's just hearsay.

My bias couldn't put that past this administration.

I just have trouble believing The left is so triggered they wouldn't think that part though...  They dont really benefit in any way... only those that want to demonize the left benefit.

I think you're right, the clearer photo is AI. And it did a bad job. The real perp had bad acne scars and lips like he was making duck face naturally.

I see what you're doing here, and I just don't feel like it's right for the moment.

It's been less than a day, and I think everyone should keep that in mind while we go 'round and 'round.
