Biden White House Doctor Pleads the Fifth

Off topic and attempting to deflect ... 'but but but Trump'.
Predictable and tiresome.

This thread is about Bidens White House doctor pleading the fifth to cover for Bidens cognitive decline and his own sucky doctoring while Biden was in office.    Get on topic or go play elsewhere.

Biden was not formally diagnosed with cognitive decline even though you claim he has it on this thread. Armchair conspiracy Biden bashing, much? Thar she sharts again.

"Experts in neurology and gerontology caution against armchair diagnoses. Cognitive Decline in Older Adults: Recognizing, Assessing, and Managing Age-Related Changes is a nuanced field, and distinguishing between normal aging and cognitive impairment requires comprehensive evaluation. It’s not something that can be definitively determined from afar or based on isolated incidents."

"But here’s where it gets tricky: verbal gaffes have always been part of Biden’s political persona. Even in his younger days, he was prone to the occasional foot-in-mouth moment. The question is whether the frequency and nature of these slip-ups have changed significantly.
Body language experts have also weighed in, analyzing Biden’s non-verbal cues during public events. They point to instances of apparent confusion or disorientation, moments where he seems to lose his bearings on stage. But again, it’s crucial to consider the context. Public events can be chaotic, with multiple distractions and pressures that aren’t always visible to the audience."

And that is what the hearings are discussing ... his obvious cognitive decline and the cover up by many in the Biden administration including the physician who refused to diagnose him with it and/or who covered it up.   He pleaded the fifth in order not to incriminate himself.

You don't know why he pleaded the fifth. You have chosen a narrative to follow with this and so be it.

I will follow the trial and then make my judgements/opinions as it goes along.

The problem the prosecution will have with Biden is his previous experiences with certain behaviour that could be mistaken for cognitive decline. We shall see what we shall see.

It's a reciprocal witch hunt because your two party system is so f*kd up and this is what they keep doing to each other, over and over. Same sh*t, different presidency.

I'm surprised anyone is still paying attention to Comer after his investigation into the Biden family went nowhere.

He kinda has a history of making headlines, with no follow through.

The one and only reason to 'plead the fifth' is to not incriminate yourself.
That's why it exists ... not to witness against yourself.
You are a foreigner and wouldn't be expected to know about our laws.
But you should know them before you try to comment on them.
Otherwise ... it just looks silly.

TEXT OF FIFTH AMENDMENT - No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

You are an American and I don't expect you to know the nuances of your laws.

"To “plead the 5th” means that you exercise your rights under the 5th Amendment to the United States Constitution. The 5th Amendment provides a broad range of protections to anyone facing criminal prosecution, including the right not to be compelled “to be a witness against himself.”"

Hey brainiac ... I already posted the text of the law and explained it to you ... you just said it right back to me that is that a person doesn't have to be a witness against himself and incriminate himself.

DUH.

I know the law very well.  You, on the other hand, don't seem to.
He plead the fifth so he wouldn't have to incriminate himself.  Lol

You missed 'broad protections'...

"The Fifth Amendment creates a number of rights relevant to both criminal and civil legal proceedings. In criminal cases, the Fifth Amendment guarantees the right to a grand jury, forbids “double jeopardy,” and protects against self-incrimination. It also requires that “due process of law” be part of any proceeding that denies a citizen “life, liberty or property” and requires the government to compensate citizens when it takes private property for public use."

So are you saying anyone who pleads the fifth has something to hide?

He was asked to testify about his own behavior.
He refused and plead the fifith amendment so he wouldn't have to testify about himself.
So yeah ... he has something to hide.
Otherwise, he would have testified about his actions.

It's a witch hunt - reciprocal. No there, there.

I feel sorry for the people of your country, I really do.

Carry on with your Biden/doctor bashing thread.
