I always associated the children's skin colour being green regarding the Woolpit tale as symbolic of the old pagan ways.

I am not "the hollow earth crowd", having an interest in folklore does not make one a hollow earther or worse a flat earther.

But the tale is rather synonymous with a lot of people who do place stock in the theory.
