This may be a stupid question: But when you say "cleansed by his blood", do you mean literally Jesus blood, or like some sort of metaphor, or like red wine or grape juice?  I don't get it...

He suffered and died for us greymagick, when we didn't deserve it. That is one of the most fundamental aspects of the gospel that we must grasp. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, God in the flesh, was willingly scourged, mocked, crucified, and killed for our sins, taking upon Himself the punishment we deserve. He was then buried and raised back to life after three days, in accordance with the scriptures. Jesus, in every respect, was tempted as we are yet He remained without sin—like a “lamb without blemish or spot”, the perfect and only sacrifice worthy of taking our place. No other human could offer their life as a ransom, because all were already under the penalty of death due to sin. No one condemned to death could pay the price for another—only Jesus, sinless and unblemished, was worthy to take our place.

Your main problem is that psychological research shows that virtues like love, joy, and patience, can be cultivated and learned through secular practices without necessarily invoking religion.

And concepts like "sin" and "darkness" are interpreted differently across cultures.

Respecting personal faith is important TheWay.

But presenting one belief system as the singular path overlooks the diversity of the others.

It also rejects other means of finding God through spirituality through one's personal relationship with whatever they deem to be the creator and not religion, or scripture that serves only to control the masses to fit one narrative.
