Okay ... I think I got it.
In American terms ... he wasn't arrested.
He was detained. Questioned. And then released.
It was part of the investigation.
It wasn't the 'arrested and arraignment set for within 48 hours for formal charge'.
Okay ... thanks for folks answering my questions.
I was trying to figure it out.
Different country ... different way of doing things.

If he were arrested and questioned, it would have to be under caution.
Not sure how the release goes.
If they dont have any evidence its just a there is the door really, we will be in contact.

He was arrested. Released subject to ongoing investigations, which may result in formal charges, and a Court appearance

Yeah, that's different there than here.
Here if you are arrested then you have to be arraigned in 48 hours and formally charged.
So your 'arrested' there seems to be the same as 'detained' here.
I think.
I could be wrong.
It's confusing.

Yep. But evidence, will likely be inbound. Hopefully. They had enough to arrest him.
Charges will be more complicated and will take time.

Murder from 2011
I don't know if this case was ever solved
Body Found on Queen's Estate Identified as Missing Teen Alisa Dmitrijeva
https://abcnews.com/International/queens...d=15303135
"Jan. 6, 2012; -- DNA results have thus far proved inconclusive in the investigation of the human remains discovered on property belonging to the queen of England, though there is speculation that the body may be that of a 17-year-old girl who went missing last year.
Police in the U.K. are still unable to identify the body found on Sandringham Estate on New Year's Day, saying that it could take another three days. The DNA may match that of Alisa Dmitrijeva from the town of Wisbech, near Cambridge, U.K., who vanished last August and was last seen 10 miles from the royal grounds."
"This Sandringham shoot photo includes Epstein, Maxwell, Prince Andrew, and hotel billionaire Tom Pritzker, cousin to Gov. J.B. Pritzker."
