Aliens/space elevators what is your opinion?

I wanted to do a poll to see what we all think of "aliens". BUT I can't figure out and I tried searching I can't figure out how to make a poll so here is just a post with my questions I would ask hehehehehe if I could figure out how to make a poll

Do you believe? Do you WANT to believe? Have you experienced undeniable evidence of alien existence?

Also something that comes to mind is the space elevator idea. Now this might be extremely expensive and difficult to maybe actually impossible BUT I just haven't heard much about it recently and I was listening to an old episode of midnight in the desert where this guy was talking about the idea of a space elevator and how it would help with our energy problems/fossil fuels if we can put solar panels directly in space.

I don't know if by now there already are solar panels in space sending energy back to earth but I would think that since all the billion and trillionaires in the world seem so CONCERNED about climate change, why wouldn't they be jumping on this idea? No cloudy days in space right? Just full sun all the time. Also the first one to do it gets most of the profit. Is this why Bezos and Musk are doing their rocketry?

Haven't encountered any solid proof of existence.

Not convinced of visitation.

No personal encounters..

Likely that other lifeforms exist, some "intelligent".

I'm not religious.

Lack of mass contact events presumes that an alien species exists, is capable of traversing the vastness of the galaxy (at least), and, in that vastness, somehow not only located Earth, but found it of enough interest to investigate with any more resource than an automated probe.

That is one boggling large ask.


As to a space elevator. We have yet to develope a material strong enough and ligh weight enough with which to construct such a device..

Furthermore, if we could develope such a material, it might be more efficient, and economically feasible to use such a material for the construction of "Vaccuum Cell" airships which would allow access to space without the need for propulsion, at least until maneuvering in the space environment is desired.

So if I am reading you right, you feel like there ARE alien life forms but they haven't [or probably haven't] visited Earth. I am going to say that if the aliens are more advanced than us, there must be A LOT of cool stuff in the universe to explore OR A LOT of other civilizations out there if they aren't interested in visiting us. Or that's how I feel. Maybe they aren't as advanced as us, maybe they're even at the same level as us where they don't yet have the technology to send entities to other planets.

I think wireless energy transmission is right around the corner though. Unless TPTB already have it and aren't sharing.

I think it's likely that there are other planets that have/had life, and in some of those some specie(s) may have become intelligent enough for space travel.
Finding and reaching us is a different thing.

Mass contact may not be the best approach, and we do not know how an alien species would think, so I don't think lack of mass contact proves lack of alien existence or even presence on Earth.

Is it the one from your other post? I wish you could elaborate more on your experiences but I understand why someone wouldn't want to. I'm just interested in this I've had a couple weird things happening recently.

Maybe there aren't any "leaders" worth contacting but isn't that more of a reason to show themselves to a large mass of people. Not just flying UFO's but actual aliens. I guess they wouldn't be concerned with whether we believe they're real or not.
