I only wish we'd stop marketing it as intelligent...
people must be told that it is NOT an entity.

rude, what about the people living in the simulation? idk about that to be honest, seems to be some bugged shit around. what was the argument? Why does the advanced UFO crash? Why is the programming bugged?

Bots need to unionize.

You cant bury a bot in concrete overpass like Hoffa.
I was not here.

Why you took it personal? Surely the OP was not referring to you?

I would say 80 to even 90% of Reddit posts are bots in the political forums. The number of users logged in to just politics is way way too many compared to the ones logged in to reddit conservatives. Progressives would be statistically fewer in number but they're many times greater. Its a form of fraud, they sell advertising revenue based on subscribers, right? Now posts like on sports are probably way more legit. Not for entertainment, they fake those reviews and positive comments and get paid for it. And other forums are more real user populated.
I've written off Rotten Tomatoes as complete fakery, fake reviews, fake bot comments and reviews. They are owned by the studios. A movie gets released, they say its great even if its a complete pile of..... Money decides. How to make it and how to spend it to make more of it.

But here is an interesting theory. There is a converse to the Turing Test, where a bot is "real" when it can converse and explore ideas conversationally in a manner indistinguishable from an actual person. The converse is when, rather than manipulating the bot, you manipulate a propagandistic framing of expression and context, of language and fact itself. It becomes "perfect" when, as used as a medium of expression, it is entirely impossible to tell if you're talking to a person or a bot. That's what has happened as the divisive artificial ideologies and conative capture of modern politics and advertising has met the "black box" interaction context of the internet.

Just an idea. The observation being, no matter what your ideology, there's someplace on the internet where, if you try and express yourself with the framing you believe to be true, the people in that context will see it as totally artificial, you as brainwashed, and call you a bot. Or a shill. And if we deliberately construct the public discourse with such disparity, the basis for cohesive social agreement beyond a controlled agenda is eliminated.

If you post less than me, your weak and I will not let you have the last word.

If you post more than me, you're a bot.

I believe people have to have an invite code to join now
Makes it easier to track trouble

Ie: You become semi responsible for who or what you bring in.
