Why can't we do both? Many people need to know if there is a purpose to this reality, their existence and attribute meaning to it.

As for Rogan and Hughes, I wonder what mind- and mood-altering substances Rogan gave Hughes, and the timing of when this universe/brain thing kicked in.  Lol

Well we really don't know if they or Chase toked up beforehand. Rogan is well known for offering marijuana to his guests or anything else they want in the way of alcohol and/or marijuana.

If Chase went in and stayed cold sober and can easily 'go there', then more power to him.

We basically know nothing about dark matter and dark energy...

There is no issue with seeking to continue down that journey, except that it leads to some insisting their explanation must be the accepted truth because reasons and then proceed to diminish ones character for believing otherwise. It tends to generate conflicts of egos, whereas it should be generating collaborative and constructive thought. Even forty years ago people would be thought of as crazy for suggesting little motors are carrying energy within your cells, but that has now been visualized with machinery.

I think Chase tried to make it somewhat understandable in that ancients left a code video. The moment we attempt to explain it with words we have essentially diminished it, because the concept is just too complex of an understanding to be comprehended with the mushy grey matter no matter how many machines we invent to measure more units, which end up leading to an entirely other set of unknowns. Even that trippy attempt at an explanation in the Rogan chat could never really be any more understandable than the elementary words it was given. is it really so far fetched though?? A person could go mad in life trying to rationalize everything they have learned that science keeps on measuring, only to generate a plethora of  new questions surrounding these discoveries.

I really like the motors within our cells, I only found out about that from the Dennis Noble chat I posted earlier in the thread.

If we keep the same London→Paris metaphor and scale the nucleus up to the size of the Sun, then the cell wall ends up absurdly far away.
Using:

  • Sun’s diameter ≈1.392×106≈1.392×106 km
  • fist-sized nucleus ≈0.10≈0.10 m
Scale factor from fist to Sun:

do supernovas make any kind of analogy as a travelling signal?
Yes — supernovas are a decent analogy for a traveling signal, but with a caveat.
A supernova is not a “message” in the everyday sense; it’s an explosion. But as a signal, it works because it sends out:

  • neutrinos
  • matter and shock waves
For analogy purposes:
  • Light is the cleanest signal: it travels outward at the speed limit.

Amoeba:

Mosquito / ant:
Still small, but now motion and obstacles matter. Time is fast, space is object-sized, and the world is full of local hazards.

Human:
Time feels like seconds to years. Space feels like rooms to planets. We navigate by travel and visible structure.

Sun-sized-cell cosmic entity:
Now time starts to feel stretched. If its body spans ~15,700 light-years, then a signal crossing it at light speed takes 15,700 years. “Now” would not mean one instant everywhere — it would be a huge distributed zone of partial awareness. Space would feel like internal geography, but with enormous delays between regions.

So compared with the amoeba, this entity is almost the mirror image:
  • Amoeba: near = immediate, far = almost meaningless
  • Human: near = practical distance, far = travel
  • Cosmic entity: near = still huge, far = centuries to millennia of signal delay
Its “experience” of reality would probably be less like a moving body and more like a slowly changing cosmic pattern.
