A really big question

Like the hunger that never dies, or a thirst that is never quenched. Maybe at some point of so much knowledge accumulation, we need to just accept our simplicity and enjoy , instead of trying to explain and catalogue every last single bit. When I was watching Joe Rogan with Chase Hughes, they brought up a lovely concept I had pondered years ago. That moment for me strangely enough, lifted me with a sort of clarity. I thought it was interesting watching these two suddenly discussing and characterizing it in such a fashion. Extremely pertinent to this topic.

I still have not finished the full 2 and a half hour show. Im only at thirty minutes. When I saw it the other day (and its older than that) I immediately thought of this thread here, and just had to bring attention to it.

Why can't we do both? Many people need to know if there is a purpose to this reality, their existence and attribute meaning to it.

As for Rogan and Hughes, I wonder what mind- and mood-altering substances Rogan gave Hughes, and the timing of when this universe/brain thing kicked in.  Lol

Rogan gave Hughes nothing. Chase has been suffering from a brain disease and he was one of the first people in the USA to volunteer for a five hour intravenous D-M-T session in Colorado. The guy who spent his career as a behavioral analyst consulting for DOD agencies including the Navy and CIA, and several large corporations came back from that session with an entirely different perspective on life.

The strange thing is Chase even said that exchange they had on the podcast should be a short, the one where they are comparing Brain cells and the universe and their understanding (assumptions) of infinity. I found the short. It was working when I posted it. Suddenly it has been locked to private, and does not show up in search. That is ok, it shows up at the twelve minute mark in the full show

Well we really don't know if they or Chase toked up beforehand. Rogan is well known for offering marijuana to his guests or anything else they want in the way of alcohol and/or marijuana.

If Chase went in and stayed cold sober and can easily 'go there', then more power to him.
