Review the first page.

The video of the agent taking a handgun from him did not surface right away.  It came out a day or two after news of the incident hit the airwaves and the thread was already several pages long.

Fabricated scenarios is right.

"Kind of an out-there kind of guy" and "maybe it wasn't good here."  Sounds like Bovino wasn't up to the job. Maybe Trump can send the circus to Italy.

Its good Trump decided to de escalate.  Homan is a bit more professional, and has a better track record of getting the job done.

Is this not the same ""Border Czar"" caught taking backhanders?

That being a bag full of $50,000 during a bribery sting.

It's like you aren't seeing the real problem. Why might that be?

Tongue

I'm not talking about that "problem" because it is not part of this topic, it's like you don't understand what we are actually talking about.....shocker

If that is your only rebuttal, you've already lost the argument.  Try again next time bud

Pretti was a known member of an anti law enforcement movement, illegally carrying a firearm(did not have his permit, which is needed in the state of Minnesota), interfering with federal agents in the performance of their duties, resisted arrest, assaulted law enforcement officers in the process and lost his life.

Not saying that the shooting was justified or any of that, I am simply stating he could have 100000% avoided this incident. But that is not a conversation you people want to have.

It sure is, and he is still better than Bovino.

And of course Trump is okay with a little graft. No word if the big guy gets his 10%

It was active warfare between IRA and UK troops - the IRA terrorists (funded/armed by the US) set off dozens/hundreds of bombings in the UK and NI at the time including bombing UK Parliament. Lots of people were killed and 1000s injured in the bombings and it was so often that it was 'normal' when I was a kid to have to leave buildings/shopping centres/train stations because of bomb threats or actual bombs being discovered.

UK troops and spies did commit attrocities but are being dealt with in the UK Courts at the moment. It's a lot different to shooting people using their right to protest or people interfering with law enforcement like seen recently in the US.

Quote:The Ballymurphy massacre was a series of incidents between 9 and 11 August 1971, in which the 1st Battalion, Parachute Regiment of the British Army killed eleven civilians in Ballymurphy, Belfast, Northern Ireland, as part of Operation Demetrius (internment without trial). The shootings were later referred to as Belfast's Bloody Sunday, a reference to the killing of civilians by the same battalion in Derry a few months later, in which the name was first applied.[sup][1][/sup][sup][2][/sup] The 1972 inquests had returned an open verdict on all of the killings,[sup][3][/sup] but a 2021 coroner's report found that all those killed had been innocent and that the killings were "without justification".[sup][4][/sup]

Quote:[/sup]
Bloody Sunday, or the Bogside Massacre,[sup][1][/sup]was a massacre on 30 January 1972 when British soldiers shot 26 unarmed civilians during a protest march in the Bogside area of Derry,[sup][a][/sup] in Northern Ireland. Thirteen men were killed outright and the death of another man four months later has been attributed to his gunshot injuries. Many of the victims were shot while fleeing from the soldiers and some were shot while trying to help the wounded.[sup][2][/sup]Other protesters were injured by shrapnelrubber bullets, or batons; two were run down by British Army vehicles; and some were beaten.[sup][3][/sup][sup][4][/sup] All of those shot were Catholics. The march had been organised by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association(NICRA) to protest against internment without trial. The soldiers were from the 1st Battalion of the Parachute Regiment ("1 Para"), the same battalion implicated in the Ballymurphy massacre several months before.[sup][5][/sup]

Sorry if it disrupts your narrative.

Gawd you’re dense.  I never said I listed them all, I only listed a few that stuck out to me and why does it even matter?  FFS    You’re the one always on here gaslighting us with your constant “but Trump hurts my feelings” bs, not me.  I swear talking to some of you is like trying to talk to a child in elementary school. Grow up.

Disrupt my narrative??? Lol Lol Lol   I don’t have a narrative or script to follow like you do.  I don’t gaf who investigates or what party they’re from, couldn’t care less…..but you certainly seem hung up on it.  Is this some sort of feeble attempt at a gotcha now moment?  I think mom has your Hotpockets ready in the basement.

Insults and deflection, that's the best anyone could expect.

DEFLECT HOW?   There’s no deflection here.   Do you even know what that means?

But you keep trying, maybe someday you’ll get there.

I thought it was obvious I was applying the term acceptable losses in drawing lines in the sand *like political party lines* not to demonstrations, that wouldn't make any sense. Why would you think an irrational thought.

I haven't done anything of the sort. Only ever referencing tactics used by certain groups, considering it wasn't me that bought Goebbels in the first place, I think you're reaching a little.

As to your other comment, easy to get the references mixed up as we are talking about someone being shot and killed so the term acceptable losses could be taken in different ways.
