Hi everyone,

Im curious to know what others think about this object flying through our solar system and the even bigger object thats following it.

Ive r3ad reports of the object disappearing, then reappearing 17 minutes later.
Does anyone have any idea what it actually is?

I'm inclined to believe 3i/Atlas is a very old comet, and part of my reasoning for this is, why make close flybys of uninhabited planets and miss the only inhabited one??

I bet it will end up being a damn noisy neighbour and we'll be telling them to keep it down every 5 minutes, and our AI will be no help....

In the TV show Stargate Universe, an alien ship refuels by flying into the corona of a star.

Maybe the writers were not so far off.

I'm speculating that these comets are under some gravitational forces and when perhaps the two gravitational forces are at the right distance they act upon each other (?)

What is this much larger object following 3I/Atlas?  This is the first time I've heard this.
