You want the minerals to be left wide open for China to get?
They already have almost all of them that are being developed.
(either direct ownership or at least control over them)
It would be a disaster for the world if China got a hold of them.

China does not need Greenland's minerals they have all they need from their lands and are #1 exporter of same.

Greenland is situated in such a way as to be completely surrounded by other allied countries waters so to get to Greenland they would have to go through Denmark's waters first and Denmark and other allied security forces are stationed there if such an event were to happen. But the only country threatening any other country for Greenland is the U.S. at this point in time.

Quite evident that China wants a monopoly on rare earth minerals and weaponize that control.  And China has no interest in free and open trade.   Everything from stealing peoples intellectual property to using forced labor.  Are you seriously going to derail this thread to cheer for China and how they weaponize holding rare earth mineral monopolies?

You guys are missing the big picture.  Get Europe to invest more in their own defense.  Open up more sources of rare earth minerals to prevent China from having a monopoly and using that as an economic weapon.  

I thought the west learned its lesson during Covid about putting too many eggs in the Chinese supply line.  And weaning itself of the CCP which is basically one large evil corporation now.  Nothing against the normal Chinese citizens, but the CCP is seeking world domination that cares nothing for free and open trade.
