There are not many King adaptations that work.
The Long Walk is an exception.
Don't expect light-hearted suspense.
This was a dark drama from beginning to end.
But well worth the watch.
I bought it on the Amazon, it's streaming now.
So SHUT UP AND WATCH IT, or I'll have Trump run for a 4th term.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

The Long Walk is a dystopian novel by Stephen King (under the pseudonym Richard Bachman) and a 2025 film adaptation, about 100 teenage boys who must participate in a grueling walking contest in a totalitarian America. Contestants are eliminated by being shot if they fall below a set walking speed, and the last one remaining wins a significant prize and their deepest wish. The story follows the physical and psychological endurance of the participants as they endure exhaustion, form alliances, and confront their own mortality.

He isn't going to run for a 4th term, he is going to declare martial law and suspend elections after he positions enough troops throughout the country, then have a massive celebration with all his crypto cronies, once they dedicate the new Monica Lewinski Ballroom and cigar humidor...

Sounds dumb.
I imagine it's boring, predictable, and talky?
Is the acting any good at least? Well drawn characters?

I'm sorry, I don't bend to the will of the mob. I'm not a Marxist appeaser.
