You think putting Venezuela in its place is going to do anything to solve the domestic drug problem? That's delusional. The problem can only be solved by... get this... solving the problem, where it manifests, in America.
But that would actually solve a problem, which too many corrupt police stations, city governments, and politicians don't want to happen. Fixing that problem would not only solve the drug epidemic, but is absolutely necessary for "making America great again". Maybe we'll get there, I don't know. I hope so.

Anyway, of course it won't result in cheaper gas prices. That's set by the economy. That's not the point. Strong American businesses and trade dominance make for a strong America. Trump is proving that with tariffs—you've got to have the cards. That's why he's eating their lunch.
