Venezuela, Americas Kiev?

So, how does Trump sell this.
Billions of dollars in oil, just south of the border, screw a countries sovereignty, it’s people, it has liquid gold and needs milking.
Blame drugs?
Trump wants a Nobel but looks like he wants a war as well
So soon after suffering in Ukraine, military supplies must be a bit shallow
How will the Latinos in the US feel about this?

On the upside, clearly oil is agenda driven and nobody is trying to conquer the windiest city in the world

So, who has a good reason for USA to invade?
Make me believe

Well, they could drag up that old WMD thing, only this time it's drugs. It worked the first time so... *shrug*

The CIA is gonna be really pissed when he cuts off the source of their black project money.

I have a question:  what kind of sovereignty does a country have if they are under the spell of a bona fide dictator?
Quote:The controversial polls in May 2018 and July 2024 saw opposition candidates barred or jailed, with the National Electoral Council, aligned with Maduro, declaring him the winner despite evidence suggesting opposition candidate Edmundo González secured more votes. What Did Nicolas Maduro Do To Venezuela And Why Is The US Government After Him?

As for reasons:
To help stabilize the region.
To thwart Russian and Chinese advances in the New World.

Saying US should invade Venezuela because it has a dictator is really naive. We’ve heard this kind of reasoning before...look at Iraq. Two wars were meant to ‘fix’ things and bring stability, and instead the country ended up worse off,
Years of chaos and new extremist groups rising out of the mess.

Invading another country doesn’t magically create freedom or stability; it usually does the opposite. There are better ways to deal with bad governments than starting another disaster war for oil.

I don't see the DEA or ATF being none too happy either.

Never mind a few other alphabet agencies.

Fiddling with their milk and honey can be dangerous to the least.

Here's a Youtube video entitled The Corporate Interests Pushing for a Coup in Venezuela.

It's called a short, but it's 3:00 minutes long.

The Trump backed, to be installed by the U.S., new President of Venezuela, had a high level meeting recently.

Then the top 1% pays no net taxes after subsidies, pisses on the working class, and calls it trickle down economics.
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama

However it gets cut, it stinks.

We could make the case it’s for the oil… but it’s heavy crude, and we are the number one producer of oil right now of any nation ever.

We could make the case it’s to hedge China and Russia out. But they’ve split, and Maduro has said he won’t sell to them, and sell us whatever we want.

We could say it’s for drugs. But they only produce around 5% of our supply, and that’s just cocaine. What would that do, increase prices by 10-20% at best?

Either way it’s all a lie, and it makes people feel like the government is doing what they always do. Feeding us bullshit without even the decency of really trying to selling it. They’re not even trying as hard as with Iraq.

My guess is it’s for the oil, but the MIC has to get their cut on the way. Oligarchs have been cashing in while the middle class has gotten crumbs, surprise surprise. Same circus as always.

Do you support cartels?

If so, why?
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

The government supports cartels more than anyone against this war.

Just pardoned a convicted trafficker, and he wasn't even the first pardoned. Our troops protected poppy fields in Afghanistan by order of our government.

A former leader from Al Qaeda was in the White House the day before veterans day. He had a bounty for millions a year before that.

Saudi Arabia was the only state government that had ties to 9/11, yet we invaded someone else.

How many dictators do we support right now at this moment?

So being against bad war that isn't even voted on by congress doesn't make anyone supporting of cartels any more than our government has. I say we don't pay for any of it. It's 5% of Cocaine... Not really gonna move the needle.
