The quote highlights a profound truth: when we judge others, we unveil our own inner landscape more than we define them. It illuminates the fact that our judgments are mirrors reflecting our unique perspectives, biases, and beliefs.
Rather than providing an accurate portrayal of the person being judged, our judgments expose the contours of our own mindset, values, and preconceived notions.
This revelation compels us to contemplate the far-reaching consequences of passing judgment and prompts us to confront the potential biases and limitations that shape our perceptions.
In essence, this quote urges us to reflect on ourselves and be more aware. It encourages us to treat others with empathy and understanding, avoiding quick judgments and harsh evaluations based on our own biases.
By doing this, we can build authentic connections and navigate the intricacies of human interactions with more compassion and wisdom."

For real. I'm growing very tired of the pop psychology too, along with the aforementioned AI tone.
@ quintessentone
As far as this interest as to why I personally care so much, I would ask, "Why do you care so much about what I care about with regards to the subject matter?" You are focusing a lot on me and that seems to be out of focus regarding the topic. From your own statements, you have checked yourself in regards to someone you were "curious" about concerning their personal identity. So you should give me the same benefit of the doubt, esp. because we are chatting in a forum where I haven't blocked you like I do to the freak show on Gab.
If you have truly let this go, then you have no reason to continue to harp about why I care. If you continue, you are merely a troll.

@ Mich
I asked you once and suggested self-reflection for us both. Your reply was flippant.
If you are not interested in self-reflection why you care so much about someone else's identify/path in life then so be it. I was just trying to let you know that I did check myself as to my curiosity and that it really is none of our business what or why or how other people want to portray themselves to be, or to explore what they may be.
That is not trolling, that is asking you one question, one time, "Why do you care so much?"
If you want to bash, judge or demean this person on Gab, that's none of my business. Why not leave it there? Why bring it here for the ALT right to have a field day with?
@UB
That text was a philosophical quote and a good one, IMO which fits the psychology of this thread.
"Rather than providing an accurate portrayal of the person being judged, our judgments expose the contours of our own mindset, values, and preconceived notions."
See what I mean. Anyway, I know how these threads go, so I won't be responding any more as what follows is the usual you know what kind of bashing.

I am perplexed by this combination of characteristics that creates cognitive dissonance in myself while apparently is a great fit for the person in this unusual profile. Also, it seems comical like a farce, but from the clinical perspective, that may be in bad taste. However, if this is some bizarre psyop or weird social programming effort by some nefarious organization, then I see conspiracy potential in this strange profile.
Then again I could be repressing my real feelings and desire to express them when I explore this alternative lifestyle. I may be as some of you suspect, a closet gay, conservative, Christian, Neo-Nazi.
It's difficult to know if you are serious or joking. My instinct is that you are joking about this whole situation.
Do you want all of us to figure you out, instead of you figuring yourself out?

Look, if this guy isn't a joke, then we have more to worry about then Lil Ole Me! You sound like you have things figured out and you stated your opinion on the matter in your first post. Thanks, good job, and I don't necessarily disagree with you either.
I do think I have this figured out. I've been on Gab for a long time, that and other forums, I'm not oblivious. Why? I'd like to see if anyone thinks like I do. If you believe that means I'm relying on you guys to make sense of this, you're mistaken. You are actually the one making a big deal out of all this, I'm simply responding.
It appears to me that you are implying something about me. Are you are trying to justify some unlikely lifestyle by making it seem like I'm the one with a problem? Do you believe that because I can't comprehend that this can be anything other than a fake troll account, meant to cause trouble on Gab, that I have to "look within" to find my answer?
All that crap is complete bullshit in my opinion and entirely unnecessary esp. considering how far YOU took this tangent.

Why don't you just ask that person on Gab and get all your questions answered?

"This poster is a conservative, Christian, Neo-Nazi, homosexual!"
A conservative, Christian, Neo-Nazi, and homosexual?
You'd need a theology degree, a history textbook, and a therapist just to understand how his worldview doesn't implode before breakfast.
But hey, if hypocrisy were an Olympic sport, he'd be taking gold, clutching a rainbow flag while goose-stepping through Leviticus.

Without knowing the Gab person's comments that made MSD think all that, then it's difficult to know if it is anywhere near the truth and I'm not going onto Gab to find out.

Im just trying to appreciate the hypocrisy of such a conundrum, which is almost poetic.
Considering Neo-Nazi ideology has historically persecuted homosexuals.
Yet here we are, someone trying to merge swastikas with pride flags.
That would be like building a belief system where every part despises the next.
