My history is fairly short:
1. Around 2000 I was driving a Dodge Stratus
2. 2003 bought a used 98 Dodge Neon.
3. 2005 bought a nice 04 Chrysler Sebring Ltd(200 HP), and purchased a rear spoiler and put it on myself - you can see where I'm beginning to go with this. Large gap following since I had that car for 13 years.
4. 2018 got a 2010 Charger V6 at 250 HP. No manual mode, but things were starting to get a bit more fun here.
5. 2020 it was a 2007 Charger. V8 at 370 HP 394 Tq I think. Only paid 5,000. Guy said the radio didn't work, but I later got the CD working without an LCD display for MP3 data discs and it was powerful and sounded great. This is really where I started becoming a driveway mechanic. Replaced alternator, replaced radiator fan assembly and then the radiator itself. New radiator hoses, new battery, and I don't know what else. This is where I also got introduced to an independent mechanic who worked from his house, and he did anything that I couldn't do or required a lift.
6. 2022 the 2012 Volvo S60 T6 at 325 HP and 354 lbs of Tq.
The last three were the most fun to drive, but mostly the last two because they had the manual mode - some call it auto stick. Some of the manual shifters are around the steering column(Camaros) but both of mine were at the shifter on the floor.
The last two are comparable but maybe the Volvo has a little quicker response. The audio system in the Charger was maybe a hair louder, but the Volvos' is loud enough(also by about a hair), and maybe sounds about a hair better.
