Here's the problem: everything I zero in on ends up being discontinued. I'm starting to think I'm the kiss of death for autos, lol. Here's the list so far...
The first thing I looked at was the Infiniti QX55. This is the last model year. The the Volvo S60 came into view. They are no longer available in the US. Right, how about the Audi A4? Yep, done. The Mercedes GLC? Also done. Lexus IS? Caput.
I really don't want to buy a vehicle where this is the last model year. It seems that most automakers are focusing on the increased demand of SUVs and developing all electric. I have no problems with an SUV but absolutely do not want all electric at this point.

I tend to stay away from foreign cars because I live in a small town in Western Kentucky and the nearest qualified mechanic for those are in Louisville Ky which is about 3 hours away and they are not cheap to fix. Nothing against them, just inconvenient.
