Silent jukebox? Really? Who are they when they are at home?
Music can be calming and inspirational.
Great tunes everyone!
Hello everyone, it's been a long Easter holiday and I've been researching what foods are harmful to older people (over 60 years) and that we should not eat them.
In relation to this cafe they are:
Peas (excessive consumption - digestive issues)
Potatoes (high glycemic index - blood sugar spikes)
Gravy (high sodium and fat content)
Grapefruit (if taking certain meds - negative interactions)
Fried foods (saturated and trans fats)
Processed meats (nitrate)
Ultra Processed foods (nitrate and who knows what else)
Soft Cheeses (high moisture levels - listeria contamination)
Dry crackers (choking hazard)
Peanut Butter (Choking hazard)
Hey Oldcarpy 2, can you add some new items to the menu? Like sweet potato and maybe hummus?
For right now, I would love to have a cup of plain old coffee and scone (if available) and just sit by the jukebox and surf the web for interesting tidbits of news and breakthoughs in all genres.
