Animal Farm comes to mind first and foremost when thinking about Schwab and his ilk.
It’s the never ending cycle of the pendulum swinging from hardcore capitalism to socialism to communism, where the 1%’ers, if you will, profess their love and support for the people while raking in the profits and all that entails. Everyone is equal but some are more equal than others.
It appears that the only way to break the poverty cycle is to strive to become one of them. Earn a different coloured uniform and move up the ranks and garner more than the average red shirt. (Yes it’s a Star Trek reference).
The issue seems to be the same as politicians, in my view. Someone steps up to a leadership position to effect change, finds that they may have the knack to get things done locally, gets pushed into doing more and more for larger groups until they find themselves in a dark and difficult situation where it has become corrupted to the point where they cannot walk away.
I don’t remember where I read the story of a ranking politician who was compromised by being forced into doing something absolutely horrific (pedophilia) in order to save their families lives. Then being told that they were now “owned”, and all of their public decisions were going to be given to them.
I may have swerved off topic a tad, but it seems to all be about control. The control mechanism I see is the Young New Leaders of the WEF being the ones that are the candidates for leadership of countries all over the world. (Notice I didn’t say around the globe? Just throwing a bone to our wingnut Flat Earth buddies).
Again I digress, but this is how I see it and I don’t see any change in the future. Wash, rinse and repeat.
If there are Aliens watching, then they already know that our world leadership is completely compromised and it’s best to leave us alone until we sort it all out ourselves.
