As long as the majority of the countries bow to the pressure and make a deal, this will be a minor blip.
I don't know but Im reading over and over from different sources, it would be advantageous if the FED lowered interest rates which may or may not occur
Right or wrong Trump was also trying to prove a point, we have had an unbalanced trade for a long time.
Lastly, Trump is negotiating from a position of strength the tariffs are a starting point now each country can come to Trump with proposals but likely most will just eat it so they can continue to tap into Uncle Sam's wallet. The others as we have already seen
can negotiate a more layered and complex deal.
So those in Trump's tariff team didn't have to prepare 167 different proposals for all the tariffed countries, they only had/have to work on those who approached America for modifications
