I think we often misinterpret the presence of beer in society due to a western prejudice.  I think it was more akin to a warm food substance than a frosty inebriant. (Plus, I've heard it was comparatively foul tasting... or rather "an acquired taste.")

I often fret over the constant presence of looters from "outside" and "inside" the archeological effort to recover the past.  

This find might be one of the few times we get a look at how things were, without tripping over some looter's footprints, or losing evidence to someone out to make a buck on the black market.  Fingers crossed, so to speak.
