Wasn't sure where to put this thread, so put it here.
A few days ago I had a nasty tummy bug or food poisoning ending with a day in hospital to get pumped with fluids.
Anyways all the doctors are closed for Xmas. I couldn't afford $150 odd dollars to go to the White Cross accident and emergency place, so I ring our 0800 free call health advice from a registered nurse to ask if the hospital which is free would take me and should I go after shitting water for 3 days and vomiting all.
I got the ph number from the government website and clicked the link to the number. As the phone was ringing I look at my cell ph screen and it said (the call ID) I was ringing the Cancer Control Agency.
I thought this a bit odd and not reassuring at all.
Conspiracy me thinks a little bit.
Speaking to you from Aotearoa. I wonder if you all have a government free nurse number to call and what their caller ID might be.
Shitting water over Xmas not fun.
