I think that’s great - as it’s the title of the thread.
There’s a big difference in creating your own monicker, and creating your own nickname. I, just so happened to use a nickname given to me, for my monicker.
What you did was probably smarter — as MANY people know my nickname. Thankfully, it was long enough ago they hopefully forgot.
Should I remove the part in my OP about ‘nicknames being given’? Do you think I turned people off (or confused them) by saying this, like you? I’d love as much participation as possible — so your advice is much appreciated!
