Good things to me.

We don’t need to be the world police. Or fund all these nations.

WHO, NATO, Carbon Credit scheme, even at least half of the "foreign aid" money is given to facilitate and expand private commerce, and capital ventures. 
There are many abuses therein.

However, the idea of the US being the "police of the world" is hyperbolic.

We live in the world. 
We cannot prosper or function as an isolated entity for very long. 
There is a balance that could be as beneficial as we would want it to, without having to kowtow to commerce as a form of religious pursuit, or becoming the isolationists hyperbolic activists proclaim we would be.

The abovementioned entities are all common in that they represent hundreds of billions of dollars in private interests. 
They wish the continuity of governments, because most of them are "in" government... so it works out that no speaks of a world without their 'authority.' 
In their minds, there simply can't be another way. 
They've hired enough experts to make it seem so.
