Hahaha. Some time ago, around 2011, I think, there was this exhibition in the museum in Dortmund called "When it starts dripping from the ceiling" which was unintentionally destroyed by a cleaning lady. The poor woman thought the stains of patina on it, which were supposed to mean the dried drops of rain, was dirt so she scrubbed it away. 

Overzealous cleaner ruins £690,000 artwork that she thought was dirty
