It isn't set to trip when the moon if its the moon rises. I have to manually check the prior nights footage. The object is in the ~ 56 degree range +/-. What I m seeing is that the moon will rise at 12:29 AM on August 27, 2024 @ 57 degrees. Lets see if the camera picks up anything through the 31st. That's fair right? I also have a Trail Cam I can set up facing that direction.
27 12:29 am ↑ (57°) 3:50 pm ↑ (305°) - 8:07 am (83.8°) 237,369 38.1%
28 1:22 am ↑ (55°) 4:48 pm ↑ (305°) - 9:05 am (84.5°) 240,301 27.8%
29 2:21 am ↑ (55°) 5:38 pm ↑ (303°) - 10:02 am (83.5°) 242,983 18.7%
30 3:23 am ↑ (58°) 6:20 pm ↑ (299°) - 10:55 am (81.0°) 245,363 11.3%
31 4:25 am ↑ (62°)
That would be great!
I don't know a thing about Ring cameras, is it possible to get a timestamp on the image? That would help.
PS: regarding the pine needles being illuminated, as they are reflective they can reflect the light from objects wider than they are locate behind them, but to know how they appear in the camera we really need an example.
I hope we will know something more in a few days.
