There’s everything I listed above and:
- TV being left on for music for our dogs at night and waking up to the channel changed.
- Front doorbell backup battery drained despite being connected to constant power. Charged it and now it’s fine…
- Electronic systems on cars failing.
- Several GFI outlets going bad.
- various observed very bright flashes of light from one room of the house
Probably more.
We seemed to have had a positive impact on these issues using a plug that absorbs EMF. We also invested in a few other energy absorbing objects and found that some of the problems got better or went away.
There’s still some of whatever causes this though - if you’re paying attention you can feel/sense it. Comes and goes.
Something I tried that had an impact on all of this - turn off your main breaker and cut power to your house. When I did, it seemed incredibly still and silent - calm - in the house. It felt different/better. The effects of doing that for 30 minutes lasted for a while. When the power was turned back on it still felt quieter - and my power drain issues seemed to calm down.
Truly bizarre stuff.
Please post anything related to your Ring cam footage.
I caught “something” on my Ring cam once upon a time
- which set me on quite the Ring cam anomaly hunting adventure. I stuck with Ring for my whole experiment for consistency (and until I found a better way to capture the phenomenon) and if you found something I very well may have seen it too and have data that could triangulate more about it.
I at one point reviewed the many cameras daily and when I catalogued an image or video of note I’d take down weather data and more looking for patterns.
Curious the weather conditions when the video was taken.
I tried to load the RING video on DI but can as DI doesn't allow that type of file. Let me see if I can find my old account on YouTube or other and post it there and if successful I will contact you via a PM. One thing I did back in 2023 was to load a free APP EMF detector onto my Smartphone. No issues throughout the house except it went nuts on the following:
Steel welded decorative outdoor railings on 1st and 2nd floors and entryway into home at front door. One is over 15' long and faces Lake Murray. Its about 80' from the shoreline. The home was built in 1994 so where did that steel or paint come from? Also, we have a AB Lounge stored in the basement. The APP also went nuts when I placed it over the metal frame of the AB Lounge. Also, our bedroom alarm clocks also shot the EMP meter off the charts.
We planned on moving so I got rid of the APP and forgot about it until I am writing this comment. All other materials were fine including both cars. Now I am thinking again.
PS:
We have three TV's in the home. Two are LG OLED SMART located on the ground floor adjacent to the garage and the other is a Pioneer Flat Screen from 2008 located on the 1st floor.
Back in the Fall [August-September] of 2020 on a sunny no wind night near 9:00PM we were watching one LG TV and it got zapped. We bought it in 2016. We lost all connectivity along with WIFI and could not even get the TV connected to the Router again, even on the LG Network, so we gave up and went to bed. I reconnected all from scratch the following day which included typing in all passwords again. It also knocked off all three RING cameras offline and that's when one Denon Home Theater Receiver, Sherwood CD Player and Niles Whole Home AMP got zapped. All those devices were shut off at the time and all were on two levels of Surge Protection; Eaton Whole Home in Circuit Breaker box and a Monster Strip in wall receptacle.
The LG TV was also plugged into a Monster HTS 3600 MKII Surge Protector Clean Power Stage 3. I owned it since 2008. I still has [5] functional banks left as the other already took "hits" and they are fried. The "hits" were in Atlanta. Once all banks are fried the unit is no longer functional. I was told by the Master Electrician that the Eaton with take three surge "hits" and then will be non functional and need to be replaced.
Five Security Cam installers will no longer offer WIFI security due to its unreliability. They will only offer a hardwire security system with a 120V battery backup.
We do have a low voltage indoor Security System [Doors, Window Breaks, Motion] It was never affected by any of the above!
