Been getting a little lucky lately with decent night time conditions. I have a few more shots to share with you all >

First is the core of the heart nebula:

Next is the Veil nebula:

and finally, this was taken last night. The Bubble Nebula and M52 (open star cluster) same frame.

I hope you enjoy! :)

Boy do I ever enjoy those pictures my friend!

Obviously you’re taking them with a telescope? I don’t want to pry, but can you or have you shared what you are using?

If it’s hot, wet and sticky and it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

I have several scopes in my array. But those were taken with my S50.
  • Aperture                          50 mm
  • Focal ratio                        f/5
  • Focal length                     250 mm
  • Optical lens                      Apochromatic triplet
  • Sensor                             IMX462
  • Resolution                        1920 x 1080

In post-process when I stack my subs, I also upscale to increase resolution. Helps to pull out the finer bits of data.

All very beautiful images, thanks for continuing to share them.

I don't know if it's just me, but the Veil nebula has a distinct resemblance to something else, less pretty, that lives in space...

I'll just link the image as it may upset some members.

By the way, do you capture planets as well? Jupiter will be the closest it can be to Earth this month.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them. I do have a planetary scope. 6" Newtonian on a 105lb equatorial mount. I managed to get this shot last year when Jupiter was close.

You can see 3 of the Galilean satellites as well!

These shots are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
My mind is open to all possibilities. But one thing is certain: they're hiding something.
