Treat Election Day Like A Blizzard is Coming
#21
(10-21-2024, 12:33 PM)IdeomotorPrisoner Wrote: There will be no social breakdown because Trump will win and the election will be free and fair this time.

Real answer:

Because Trump wins by the small margins this time the democrats will demand recounts and then accept defeat. More 2000 than 2016.

There will be generalized protests of just not liking him, which go out of their way to be peaceful UNTIL Trump does the following things.

End Ukraine war in way favorable to Russia
Supports Israel in a way Biden was too afraid of Muslims to try. (Most likely to be violent)
Closes the border on day one.
Follows through with largest deportation offensive in US History.
Goes after LGB but mostly T protection by changing back Title IX - which effectively ends ideated gender in sports.
Bans pronouns and woke sex education practices.
Bans DEI and affirmative action.

And the lesser likely ones of:

Pulls out of NATO
Supports national abortion ban
Endorses Alito going after Obergefell v. Hedges

That first list is when the protests happen. Those are the triggers to cause them.

The silver lining may be "desensitization to protesting." The executive orders on day one are going to be a back-breaking straw that ends the facade of trying to act adult about Trump. And then it will overload people with too many EOs to be mad at.

Look for protests to be minor after election day, maybe isolated cases, but mostly despondent Gen Z (instead of millennials) bitching until he starts following through like he will.

I don't see it getting particularly dangerous until after Jan 25th

I don't know how old you were in 2000 but it was fairly chaotic for Florida for about a week

If it even happens in 1 or 2 states with today's MSM it will seem worse and likely set some azzhats and nutjobs off.

What's so special about January 25th, 2025?

is it just the weekend after the inauguration Ive looked it's not when Congress or the Supreme Court convenes

Thats a helluva list it makes it sound like unless he swears allegiance to Obama it's a mostly peaceful November as CNN would put it.

I have faith it won't be too bad as for your list, im trying a new edible so my thoughts may be on the optimistic side

End the Ukraine war in a way favorable to Russia

This will not be instantaneous this will take months I think Summer for the talks to even start and that's not a certainty plenty of indications even if Trump turns off the laundromat  Europe and the UK will go it alone and Trump and the US will be left out #1 and #2 Trump will at least listen to the military before he pushes for talks etc so more months
Not to mention who will freak and protest about it, Ukrainian Americans? On top of the way it looks there will be less opposition in Congress and the Senate than he has ever had, even the RINO contingent has lost some luster

Supports Israel in a way Biden was too afraid of Muslims to try. (Most likely to be violent)

This one seems to be an immediate issue but hopefully, by then we can turn off the financial spigot that helped support the protests and likely made them violent. Time will tell, but the predictions of a violent fall as the universities returned to campus haven't happened so maybe the financial flow has already been disrupted

Regardless corporate America may support LBGTQ etc issues but it will not divest not in Israel especially the MIC It is their cash cow, and Israel has developed loads of military tech that is too mutually beneficial. So divesting and not sending weapons is not going to happen. Besides it is racist AH and smells a lot like Kristallnacht or the Night of Broken Glass,

Closes the border on day one.

Likely but who is going to protest? The undocumented already here? thats not smart to get together in locations where they can be rounded up easier and become documented like  identified with facial recognition etc Again I don't see protests being huge for most of his base this is a top 3 issue, but it will come down to who will finance the protests?
Legal immigrants already here are not supportive. States with large influxes that are struggling will not have enough of the GP interested in protesting.

Follows through with the largest deportation offensive in US History.

It will start with the largest deportation of undocumented criminals, there will have to be a filtering process and this could take months or years those without criminal backgrounds will be the last to go, and in all likelihood, those who are gainfully employed and have relatives will have opportunities to become legal. It is an estimated 20 million people logistically even if they all went to designated areas it would take a long time to process them months or possibly years

Goes after LGB but mostly T protection by changing back Title IX - which effectively ends ideated gender in sports.

Likely to happen very soon but is this a bridge the movement wants to die on, it has come so far. The numbers directly affected seem to warrant massive or violent protests

Bans pronouns and woke sex education practices.

Probably a mixture here bans pronouns probably isn't a priority but the woke sex education practices will be curtailed isn't some of that up to the states to decide ie if a state's Board of Education supports it plus no doubt hyper woke states will file injunctions etc.

Bans DEI and affirmative action.

On the list but limiting sounds like a more likely option, perhaps where some careers or jobs are deemed critical and it's in the public and the country's best interest to hire the most qualified.

And the lesser likely ones of:

Pulls out of NATO

Not going to happen, It is improbable the threat was to get UK and Europe to pony up for NATO

Supports national abortion ban

Not going to happen very unlikely, he has said he doesn't support but by pushing Harris/Walz as viable candidates it did make marginally more feasible because their weakness of both affected the down-ballot tremendously. 2 months ago the Senate was all that was in jeopardy of going red, now there's a real chance for a trifecta.

Endorses Alito going after Obergefell v. Hedges

Reading about this more and more it seems unlikely too,  many other important decisions on the Supreme Court docket don't think it qualifies as urgent.

Generally Im of the mind that most Americans are sick of the dysfunction and disruption, and realize we have areas to rebuild and more non-controversial legislation to enact. Trump's initial moves will be business and economy-related not exactly riot-worthy especially if it's a huge tax break

Can't the left let the Boomers have one more chance to look at the sunset and dream?  I saw somewhere that for the first time in forever Boomers #1 activity, spending time with thier children and grandchildren has dropped behind vacationing and traveling. The comments suggested some are tired of thier ingrateful little shits, LOL.

No doubt Im lucky that I have two wonderful and decidedly liberal daughters that seem to still love their cranky ass, Dad. Other Boomers don't seem as fortunate as I am, hearing stories of Boomers cashing in life insurance policies  getting second mortgages or huge loans and not leaving their homes and possessions to thier children instead spending i themselves. Kind of hilarious but i cant imagine...

Not expecting violence here.
Few isolated protests probably but hope they got their permits first!! Do expect to see more screaming females on MSM like 2016. Gotta keep that Meme-machine updated don't 'cha know.

Only shocker's been some dude on YT went to Lancaster County in PA to check on the Amish vote. Turns out Trump nailed that demographic! Trump signs in Amish Farms front yard too.
Reasons given by those who chose to speak to this guy were abortion an Trump is pro-business.
It was mentioned the older Amish used the mail-in ballots.
Can't blame them, who wants to be a image for CNN rolling into a polling place in horse & buggy & be on TV? Or pestered by CNN.

It takes a LOT for the Amish to be politically motivated. Harris did it tho!!

Dems Warn of Civil Unrest if Trump Wins

Quote:(Chris Cella Jr.Headline USA) Americans should prepare for potential “civil unrest” if Donald Trump reclaims the presidency, a dozen Democrats warned the Wall Street Journal just over a week before one of the most polarizing elections in U.S. history, Breitbart reported.

“I really think it’s going to be bad if [Trump] wins,” said activist Melisso Fiero.

Prominent left-wing figures and activists nationwide expressed concerns about the aftermath of a Trump victory. Many are taking proactive measures, such as signing up for women’s marches scheduled before and after the election.

Political analyst Mark Halperin shared similar sentiments during a recent conversation with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, predicting “workplace fights … fights at kids’ birthday parties

He also foresaw protests turning violent. Halperin warned that a Trump resurgence could lead to “the greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country,” necessitating significant access to mental health professionals.

Brace for Unrest if Donald Trump Wins Democrats Warn

Quote:Americans should prepare for “unrest’ if former President Donald Trump completes the greatest political comeback in modern American politics, Democrats told the Wall Street Journal on Monday.

The potential for Democrats to perpetrate political violence undermines their narrative that Republicans, and especially the America First movement, are a threat to democracy.

“I think there’ll be some violence. I think there’ll be workplace fights. There’ll be fights at kids’ birthday parties. I think they’ll be protests and will turn violent,” Mark Halperin recently told Tucker Carlson.

Resistance groups, according to the Journal’s Joshua Chaffin and Valerie Bauerlein, believe citizens should be “bracing for unrest” if Trump wins:

They are setting the stage.
Injecting fear.
Creating 'expectations' to exploit.

Look for the delivery of random pallets of bricks to vulnerable areas.
Look for the 'agents provocateur' to be bused in...
Watch where the media 'decides' to gather.
Watch where banks and local governments maneuver.

It's all for the activist 'show.'

yeah .. that was a big one.   Obvious and in the open.
But the 'free press' didn't follow up on it and investigate.
Instead, they just called the chaos 'peaceful protests'.

I wonder if the hat factories are already at work generating the next virtue-signal headwear for the inevitable protest rallies. It's totally organic!
