Yeah, sure, I'm really going to believe them.    Lol

That is not the only article stating people are returning to CA.

The ones that are way too uptight and judgmental don't need to come.

I sincerely hope that New York gets everything it voted for.

And they are finally punishing the Jews!

Elect a muslim, see what happens. . . . . . just sayin'

Another reason is weather.  With weather changes causing more and more severe weather -- some are looking for warmer climate.  You can't beat the west coast for weather.

I know it's shocking, but some people do care about humanity and being humane and accepting toward others.  California had the Unruh Civil Rights Act 5 years before the Federal Civil Rights Act -- and it included sexual orientation.

The Reality Check: Why Many Are Coming Back

But now, the trend is shifting. What many people found in their new homes didn’t match the dream.
  • Summers in places like Texas and Arizona were brutally hot
  • Property taxes turned out to be higher than expected
  • The culture, lifestyle, and politics didn’t feel like “home”
  • And the excitement wore off quickly
One client told me, “We thought we wanted a red state — until we lived in one.”

So now they’re returning to California — and they know exactly what they want this time around.

Why Millions Are Moving Back to California (and Why San Diego Is Their #1 Pick) - Wesley Tyler Real Estate Group

The data says something entirely different than you’re saying, a common thing with you but I digress on that topic.

Funny that some data is completely opposite of what you’ve posted.  This data was actually compiled from a journalist, not a National Association of Realtors website or a real estate agent website Lol

“Last month the Globe reported that California Governor Gavin Newsom claimed “California was the second most popular state for Americans to move to in 2024,” (emphasis Brandon He/Him) according to a newly released report from the National Association of Realtors.
The Globe refuted Newsom’s Ministry of Truth merely by looking at the report:
at the National Association of Realtors website and found at their most recent studies including this from October 17, 2024, “Job Relocation Trends and the Impact on Local Real Estate Markets,” which actually found California is not one of the states with net job migration gains, and is in fact, the worst. More on that below.
Allied reports that California had 41.1% inbound and 58.9 outbound in 2023.”

“Worth noting is that in 2018 California was one of the top Inbound destination states, also according to  Allied Van Lines Company data. By 2020, only two years later, California’s inbound migration was 40%, while its outbound migration was nearly 60%, which leads us to California’s bleeding residents and businesses today.

Top Outbound States in 2023
Illinois. 64%
California. 60%
Pennsylvania. 57%
Michigan  57%
Washington. 55%

Top Inbound States in 2023
South Carolina  65%
Arizona. 61%
Tennessee. 61%
North Carolina. 60%
Florida. 52%Allied reports the top inbound and outbound cities:

Top Inbound Cities in 2023
Charleston
Tucson
Charlotte
Nashville
Phoenix

Top Outbound Cities in 2023
San Diego
Chicago
Seattle
Detroit

Los AngelesAllied attributes several economic factors to the inbound and outbound migration including high interest rates on mortgages, sky high home prices (California), high rental costs, and inflation.”

My brother lives in Seattle and he’s ready to move anywhere as long as it’s red.  He done with the “woke” BS that’s infested the state of Washington and he’s a frigg’n Democrat or was.

I have friends in CA that are so sick of it and they want out bad, certain jobs are the only thing keeping two of them there.  They’re sick of all the “woke” BS too and one of them even voted for Hillary.   Yeah, you keep gaslighting yourself with your alternate reality, I suppose you must find it amusing and entertaining somehow.  Shrugs

ill try a repost the link, I accidentally closed it out and don’t know how to get it back on a iPhone.  If someone could help a feeble minded old man I’m all ears, LOL. I guess I could probably look it up.

Mods why do my edits post in quote box and sometimes I can’t post an edit below what I’ve already posted???  Happens all the time. If someone could reach out and explain or help I’d appreciate it, it’s very frustrating.   It actually posted annees post twice in the same box, mine in between the two, makes it almost illegible to read.

ETA:I was able to edit the duplicate of her post but my post is still in her quote box.  Wouldn’t let me do that earlier it was showing a solid red line I couldn’t cross below it.

I can't attest to 'why' ... but I think I eliminated the extra "[quote]" and end quote I saw in there... I found the pair when I clicked on the "<> Source" button in the edit window...

I thought it was asinine that they elected a communist Muslim that hates Jews as a Mayor of NYC.  Who would’ve ever thought…….

Maybe I had a misconception of the amount of Jews in NYC?   I thought there were a ton of them there, apparently a ton is not enough.  Even some of the Jews voted for the guy.  I can’t make any sense of what’s transpired there.   I’m honestly dumbfounded and lost for words.

I do have a bunch of friends in central and upstate NY.  You should hear what they have to say about him Lol    I lived in Ithaca, NY for a year, that was enough for me, couldn’t wait to get away from that place and all the Cornell and the Liberal arts college Ithaca College rejects that infest the place with woke ideology.  Ithaca's not big enough to hold that many loons.

I noticed, thx for the fix.   It also seems to do different things at different times, IDK.  I’ll take it to board questions, so as not to derail this thread.  Thx again.

Well it appears New York City is 36% white so I'm sure the remaining DEI percentages of residents aren't really bothered. I see Atta-Mensah has a lot to say about the inner workings of white supremacy and that Karen Amy Cooper in the park calling police on a black birdwatcher as indicative of white women thinking they are the police. Anyway, her job is to bring back equality to City Hall so we shall see how far she can go.

Lol   You quoted a real estate outfit that is trying to sell it's product in San Diego.  A COMMERCIAL!  Lol

As has been shown, the exact opposite is true.
