Interesting premise. And one for the Ages to be sure. I’m not sure parasitic is true to Evil’s forms or ambitions. It seems rather to revel in twisting Good, or debasing that which is Good. Warping Good to be unrelatable or unrecognizable to its Essence and Origins.

in other words Good exists in its beneficence and benign nature. Just because it has nothing to prove. Whereas Evil seeks to corrupt the nature of Good by definition.

Metaphors and similes are not lies.

All descriptions are imagery... we can only hope to convey the message behind the image...and refine it between us...

But the hazard you speak of is very important to note.

Evil is spoken of as an object... when really we're trying to label it's nature - assuming such a thing is even possible.

Yeah. I don't know about "by definition", but I can tell anyone that should they find themselves in the presence of the personage of evil, they will find that it is desperate. Desperate, for who knows what; perhaps everything. There is not even glee or whimsy in the corruption wrought thereby. A mere bottomless pit.
