Think a step ahead. The DoD prosecuted external aggression. The DoW will defend against domestic lawlessness as well. The inversion remains intact. Total war, baby.

You make good points, but this reads more like a timeline of your disillusionment. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose...

Everyone wants total war...

Is The Defense Intelligence Agency still a valid name though? Or is it just the Department they're under being renamed?

What about the Defense Commisary Agency? The War Commisary Agency? Is DeCA now WaCA, because that would be funny to say.

This is a good use of time though. It's necessary so people around the world know we are no longer just defending ourselves, we are preparring for war.

Might even be a holy war? This administration has shown they prefer Christ and they prefer warriors. Seems like a natural fit for my theocratic police state nightmares to come alive eventually.

None of the cannon fodder -- the people -- want war.   I live around people who are predominantly hardline Christian.   Most seem to calmly accept the events of the day as evidence of the end times, and are comforted in being spiritually prepared.

I have to wonder if collective humanity is so dense as to not see the end result of the variables and parameters being currently cast, along with the fact of how we surface bugs despoil the Earth, then perhaps the obvious reset is the proper way of things.   I personally believe, and have evidence to support -- that there have been previous civilzations on Earth that were wiped out or wiped themselves out.  We are really just a moment's flash on the Earth in geological times.  We are collectively so arrogant as to think that we control everything and that our influence will last forever.   We'll see.

Meanwhile, much like cockroaches, I seriously doubt that humanity can or will be completely wiped out.  I only hope we do a better job this time around with preserving critical records.

Its seems like an indoctrinating response to woke snowflakes.  We gotta militarize our culture to undo all that "cissy" crap.

The anti-war peace-minded nonsense that has tainted our PR since the 1960s and led to unwanted support for the wrong groups. "Fuck the PR" is what it amounts to.

It may also be Israel-adjacent down the line in uniting the "Two Satans" with common enemies. Worst case biblical crusade scenario.

On that, I used to like this song more. Then I heard from Serj in an interview, it's about Gaza. And it takes a hard line Anti-zionism position. You'd think an Armenian who's ancestors were displaced by a caliphate would side against the Muslims that want to exterminate an entire people, but I'm not him, and we have different bias on who wants the genocide.

But I think i can move beyond that and still post it... Because inserting a warrior mentality into culture looks like destiny manifested too. And the move speaks more to a culture intended.  Like indoctrinating that war against dictated mutual enemies over indoctrinating tolerance is the intention.

https://ground.news/

It's called Ground News, and you can take any story and check its bias and then compare it to other sources bias.

Like take a random story about a Trump EO, such as the following:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...r-pentagon

It will give you other versions of the same story.

https://ground.news/article/trump-to-sig...war_bb7255

But my favorite feature is the AI-generated bullet point example summary of the typical wording used by Left and Right sources in their articles.

 Left bullet point wording:

Right bullet point wording:

Bias Comparison:

After the AI blurb it links all articles, who published them first, and which outlets republished those versions.

Which looks like this:

Love this site, which I could very well be the last person to find, but it's new enough and cool enough to me to share.

Ty for this, its very nice and appreciated

Except for Cleopatra once. I think she caused a type of inherited PTSD that has kept repeats down since she played everyone.

By The Time of Catherine The Great society had learned to make up salacious gossip and mock any woman of authority.  So she became a horse lover.  And Hillary has penis envy. Pelosi is histrionic and deranged. Kamala whored her way to the top.  And it goes on.  Now we've gotta attack the next Karen Bass, Michelle Wu, and make shit up about Boston - because Trump's male whiteness cant abide an Asian woman critical of him.. let alone any woman critical of him. Really ANYONE critical of him, but left-leaning women especially.

And it doesnt take a psyche major to put that "insufficient" or "insecure" puzzle together.   He likes his women as complicit as a FoxNews chippie. As vacuous an airhead as most of the women he chose for this current administration. His example of strong women is only made of those that worship at his insufficient idealistic shrine. He is a text book misogynist male needing obedience. And War and warriors are more of that overcompensating testosterone culture he loves so much.

They gotta wave those figuarative dicks because the real ones aren't large enough to wave around. Which is why they attack opinionated women critical of them.

Thats what my "left-leaning" bias says anyway

I really like that video.   I wondered why he did this on his own instead of with SOAD, and apparently the answer is several things, but I found this:
Quote:“I think System of a Down should always be us four. But irrespective of what I felt, because I was the one getting in their way, if you will, I wanted to give them an option. So, that’s why I did that.”

I respect his view.   I can't know what it was like growing up where he did "eating seeds as a pastime activity" etc.  I guess we all have our private struggles.

p.s.  I'm glad they are rich.   I have enjoyed their music and it has made a difference to me.

And then if some hippie doesn't like the change or considers it militarization or something left, everyone can say they just have contracted, "DOWNS Syndrome" to go with The TDS.

Bad joke. Bad acronym. I mmediately think of stock markets. The DOD as the DOW seems off.

My opinion, according to Ground News, resembles the rhetoric of the left...

Ex:

Why do we need to broadcast this bravado shit to the world? Why do we need to project a scary warrior mentality? Ready for War mentality? Even the outwardly wokest of US military could still destroy everyone.

Like China, Russia, and North Korea do that robotic parade and might demonstration shit because they have a massive inferiority complex to The USA. Nowhere near the 1 trillion dollar budget to keep up.... no matter how many condos they Ponzi.

But a need to project your power has rarely been a show of confidence when done. More bluff-like in use.  More dick-waving.

So this site helps me confirm how on the left some of my opinions really are, even if they stay there.

wow, I'm disappointed on so many levels, I don't even know what to reply, I tried twice..really?

It's weird out of all the shit Trump says and does, and I mostly roll my eyes at how it's presented and packaged by the administration and the MSM response, but at least we know they are watching for any OMB malefeasance because of their open hostile opposition instead of the needed watchful guardianship

Biden's administration was even worse, with a lack of availability for questions about what they were continually trying to sell the public. They kept circling back and stayed on message, and the MSM acceptance killed Biden's and thier last shred of credibility and integrity... as they were paid spokespersons for the DNC's

It's the salesman in me; I know their "sales" presentation tactics. We expect our politicians to be a bit crooked, but the MSM was supposed to be the watchdogs, the guardians of the governmental policy and actions. Now they have chosen a side and they are playing for keeps

We almost had it after the "yellow journalism" period and after WWII, through the 70s.

But the appeal of alternative sources like Rush and Drudge Report etc, led to alliances and partnerships with opposing political factions, as the effectiveness of repetitive journalism was soon realized. The Clintons understood this early on in Little Rock, even before Drudge blasted us with tales of the intern in the blue dress and the cigar-smoking President, and almost toppled a fairly popular President. It certainly heralded the Republican revival in the 90s and probably put Dubya's dangling "chad" in the White House.

9/11 interrupted that MSM dynamic and pendulum push for a little while, BUT the WMD, Haliburton, and the Cheney Presidency brought about a renewed hostile media approach for the common good of a growingly skeptical GP. But since then, MSM has been hijacked, bought, and bastardized by its political partnership and some say ownership by Hollyweird and NYC.

Thier role in pushing the COVID narrative instead of questioning it has destroyed their last remaining shred of credibility.

Which makes resources like Ground News essential...

To be fair, I think we need to be skeptical of everyone who has an extra loud voice. Media, politicians, "the experts", all of them have insulated a nice cozy habitat for themselves.

That doesn't mean they're all always wrong, or evil, it's just human nature. Any of us in an industry know that you can have teeth out to competitors and still have their backs when you can relate to them more than a common enemy.
