India Bombs Pakistan

Won't spread though.
India would make fast work of Pakistan.

You might well be right yet if China comes in on Pakistan's side then who knows. Also lots of Muslims in India's own state, maybe more than in Pakistan from memory maybe 200 million ready to go on full 'intifada' when necessary. More Islamics in Bangladesh too.

Add to that Pakistan has Chinese and USA weaponry. How will that perform against India's largely Russian equipment? Going by the war in Ukraine and I'm leaning towards the Yank and Chinese stuff being honest and realistic about it.

Pakistan also has a very highly trained military. Britain and the Yanks trained their special forces post Twin Towers. Pakistan models itself on the British Indian Army. The British used the muslim population as controllers over the Indian / Hindu population in the days of Empire. They dominated before 1947 the whole of India. Their army is pretty good and well trained to this day.

I just hope they stand down and don’t go at it.

Any more news on this?

Rt? They should work together to rid their border areas of radical jihadis. India's response was rather precise and in no way exhibits an all out war.

I hope they work it out. It would suck to visit India (I would never) and not being able to see the historic and visually stunning change of guard at the border.

This is not good for business my friend.

According to Pakistani security officials who spoke to CNN, last night’s aerial “dogfight” between the Indian and Pakistani Air Force, which Pakistani officials claim resulted in the downing of at least five Indian fighter jets, was one of the “largest and longest in recent aviation history,” involving a total of 125 fighter jets battling for over an hour in the skies above the border regions of India and Pakistan. During the battle, neither country's aircraft are said to have entered the other's airspace, with air-to-air missile exchanges happening at distances sometimes greater than 160 kilometers.

I doubt China will get actively involved.

They have their own schedule they need to stick to.

160km is crazy range to down a plane i would think. I would imagine maneuverability at that range to be easily done and defensive capabilities deployed. Then again, maybe the speed of the aircraft plus the missile could cover the distance in 6 seconds what do I know.

This could be why the next time they sent drones, not sure how many fighters were active,  losing 3 in such a short time at that distance, questionable pilot competency

So I did the math and in combat jets are going about 26 km a minute. That's quite a lot of time to dodge at a distance of 160 you're looking at 6 minutes and some change 0.o maybe the narrative is incorrect

Also, here is a timeline of events between the two countries by time
